The Piano Department of the Stellenbosch University joins forces once again with the Piano Department of the University of Cape Town for their annual “Piano Exchange” concert on Tuesday 3 September at 7.30 pm in the Baxter Concert Hall and Wednesday 4 September at 8pm in the Endler Hall, Stellenbosch.

The 2019 programme will feature piano transcriptions of vocal works including Schubert-Liszt Ständchen, Gretchen am Spinnrade and Meeresstille, Rossini-Liszt Soirées musicales de Rossini, La regata veneziana (Notturno) no. 2, Mendelssohn-Liszt On wings of song and Faure-Earl Wild Après un Rêve to name a few.

Tickets for the concert at the Baxter theatre, Cape Town, are available now through Webtickets and tickets for the Endler Hall, Stellenbosch, are available now through Computicket and at the door. All UCT and Stellenbosch students free at the door.
