The Endler Concert Series is proud to present young up and coming South African artists Sally Minter (flute) and Coila-Leah Enderstein (piano) on Friday 20 April at 20h00 in the Endler Hall.

Avanti is a young professional flute and piano duo based in Cape Town. Sally Minter and Coila-Leah Enderstein have been garnering a reputation for their sophisticated performances and seamless ensemble since they began playing together in 2014. They share a vision for curating thoughtful programmes that present the flute and piano repertoire in a way that engages audiences in an intimate and captivating way.

For this concert, they will perform works that explore the essence of chamber music and highlight the unique conversation created between flute and piano.  The programme will include a SAMRO-commissioned composition for their duo by young South African composer Amy Luyendijk, alongside Hendrik Hofmeyr’s Sonata and other major works for flute and piano by Bach, Martinu and Faure that have challenged and glorified this combination of instruments for generations.

Tickets for R120 (regular) and R80 (students and pensioners) are available now through Computicket and at the door.
