Chinese clarinetist Junnan Sun returns to his adoptive homeland of South Africa for a recital tour with pianist José Dias. During his formative years in SA, Junnan took first prizes in several music competitions such as the UNISA overseas scholarship competitions and the ATKV Muziq competition, going on to do the same at prestigious international ones such as the Stockholm International Music Competition and the Royal College of Music Clarinet Prize. He was the principal clarinetist of the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the associate principal clarinetist at the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.
