| R100 – R130Dancing on Glass is a collaborative effort between the Odeion String Quartet and the Dance for All Company from Cape Town, who merge their mediums in a spectacular movement and musical presentation on the music of American composer Philip Glass.
Dancing on Glass, features music from the composers’ string repertory, which is popularly known for its minimalist but engaging character. Other composers featured in this programme include the Fourth Dance from South African composer Kevin Volans famous White Man sleeps, as well as Karl Jenkins Fifth Season. These works are written for string quartet and will be interpreted and choreographed in movement by the Dance Company.
The performance take place on Wednesday 8 March at 17h00 in the Endler Hall.
