Khoi music on blik’nsnaar and bow, together with Genevan psalm melodies on flute and organ, tell of first meetings between peoples at the Cape. Within the acoustic spaces of four churches in Stellenbosch, cultural commentary is presented as lamentation, protest and contemporary imagination.
