Italian flutist Raffaele Trevisani is one of very few pupils of Sir James Galway. In a solo recital, the beauty of the sound of Trevisani’s golden flute, accompanied by the intelligent musical sensitivity of pianist Paola Girardi guide the audience through a fascinating itinerary of repertoire dedicated to the flute.

The programme includes Corelli’s Variations on “La Follia”; Poulenc  Sonata for flute, Dvorak’s Sonatina op.100, Three Fantasias from operas by Verdi and Rossini. The programme ends with a guest appearance by Corvin Matei for a performance of Doppler’s Andante and Rondo for two flutes and piano

The performance take place on Monday 6 March at 18h00 in the Fismer Hall.
