The SU Choir, conducted by André van der Merwe, is one of the oldest choirs in South Africa, and consists of students from different backgrounds – academically and culturally – something that results in a unique energy and spirit. The choir has held the top position on the international Interkultur ranking for more than a decade, and has won several awards all over the world.
