The 2023 USSO Youth Concerto Festival will be once again held on 8 September in the Endler. Young soloists who successfully auditioned to perform at this festival will play alongside the University of Stellenbosch Symphony Orchestra (USSO) under the baton of Prof. Corvin Matei, who is also celebrating his 70th birthday this year. The Festival, traditionally held every 2nd year, serves as a launching pad for accomplished classical music instrumentalists and singers in performing with a symphony orchestra. Due to Covid restrictions the last event was held in 2019.
