Join us for a Legacy Celebration Concert as we mark Nelson Mandela’s and Stellenbosch University’s centennial with the Stellenbosch University Jazz Band, conducted by Felicia Lesch, on Friday 11 May at 20h00 at the Endler Hall, Stellenbosch.

This concert also pays tribute to the legendary artist, activist and composer, Hugh Masekela and you are sure to hear some of his familiar melodies. Vocal soloists for the evening include Sima Mashazi, Babalwa Meintjies and Mynhardt Kruger.

Stellenbosch University Jazz Band has never failed to captivate audiences, and over the years has gained a reputation for vibrant and energetic performances, the most recent being their concert with Sibongile Khumalo, Gloria Bosman, Amanda Strydom and Timothy Moloi during the Woordfees 2018 festival.

Tickets for R60 (regular) and R40 (pensioners, students and scholars) are available now through Computicket and at the door one hour before the show.
