Amanda Lawrence is currently a master’s student at the University of British Columbia, studying under Christie Reside.  An avid orchestral and chamber music player, she has been involved with the Cape Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, the Stellenbosch University Symphony Orchestra, the Stellenbosch International Chamber Music Festival and the South African National Youth Orchestra.  She has attended international festivals such as the Galway Flute Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, and has received masterclasses from Angela Firkens, Thaddeus Watson, Katherine Kemler, Raffaele Trevisani and the Galway’s.

Anthonie Jansen van Rensburg is currently a third year composition student with Dr Antoni Schonken and Arthur Feder. He is also studying conducting with Corvin Matei, jazz improvisation with Ramon Alexander and is teaching at the Jamestown Sounds Project. He is a keen performer and has played with the University of Stellenbosch Symphony Orchestra, the University of Stellenbosch Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the Stellenbosch University Jazz Band, the Stellenbosch University Camerata and various other ensembles.
