For the opening concert of the 2023 Endler Concert Series, we welcome back the Cape Chamber Music Collectivewith well-known South African musicians, Annien Shaw, Valentina Koleva-Vorster (violins), Uliana Alekseev (viola), Nicola McLachlan (cello) and Annelize de Villiers (clarinet) who will perform works by Shostakovich and Brahms. The concert takes place at 7:30pm on Friday 17 February in the Endler Hall.

The concert opens with Shostakovich’s inventive String Quartet No. 7 and Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet, thought to be one of the greatest chamber music masterpieces ever composed.
