The Stellenbosch University’s Schola Cantorum, in collaboration with the Cape Town Baroque Orchestra, presents two performances of J. S. Bach’s St John’s Passion, conducted by Martin Berger. The chorus and orchestra will be joined by a stellar line-up of vocal soloists, including Christian Rathgeber (Evangelist), Felix Rathgeber (Jesus), Elsabé Richter (soprano), Lente Louw (mezzo-soprano), Jason Atherton (tenor), and William Berger (bass). The Cape Town Baroque Orchestra (Artistic Director: Erik Dippenaar) will play on period instruments. Do not miss the opportunity to hear this moving work in the run-up to Easter.

Concerts take place on Saturday 25 March, 7pm at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, De Waterkant, Cape Town and on Sunday 26 March, 4pm, at the Endler Hall, Stellenbosch.
